Today is Earth Day, and like every day, we’re preaching safer-for-you, safer-for-the-planet sun care. With sunscreen, the buzzword this year has been oxybenzone, which we know raises a lot of questions: What is it? How does it work? Why is it in some sunscreens? How do I make sure I'm keeping the reefs safe?
Well, with so many other things to think about when choosing a sunscreen, we figured we would answer some of your oxybenzone questions in a not-so-scientific way--we read the studies so you don’t have to. Watch the video below as you celebrate Earth Day, and pass it along to get the word out about the real dangers of oxybenzone and the importance of earth friendly, reef safe sunscreen.
