UV MicroReflextion™ Protection

microreflexion-2Sunology's advanced technology, derived from sources found in nature, provides a safe broad spectrum UV protection.

Reflection of UV light is influenced by particle size. Smaller is better in the world of sunscreens. The smaller the particle size, the more effective the sunscreen is in scattering UV rays. Smaller particle size also enables Sunology to more effectively coat the surface of the skin.

UV Micro Reflexion Technology is a revolutionary approach using 21st century engineering to make a complete, high performance product. Sunology provides over 10,000 "micro mirrors” within an area the size of a quarter. Unlike chemical-formula sunscreens, they remain on the surface of the skin; they are NOT absorbed. This makes Sunology extremely effective in reflecting both UVA and UVB rays. Learn more about how the sun's rays affect your skin and what Sunology products do to help on our Sun 101 page!

Sunology creates a transparent zinc oxide and titanium dioxide barrier of protection. Most importantly, UV MicroReflexion Technology may help prevent the formation of free radicals, which are known cause of skin disorders.

FSG Complex™

fsgcomplex-2Sunology® has the exclusive license to use patented, FSG complex in sunscreens. Patented FSG Complex is derived from naturally occurring ferulic acid. Ferulic acid is a recognized antioxidant and itself is derived from soybean oil, a renowned skin nourishing agent. This ingredient has been independently shown to decrease wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation and dryness according to recent clinical research studies. Thus, regular use of Sunology not only protects skin from damaging sun rays but may also enhance skin health. Sunology is the only sunscreen which contains this patented, FSG complex.

Natural Ingredients

natural_ingredients-2Active ingredients: Zinc Oxide 10.0%, Titanium Dioxide 7.5% Purpose: Sunscreen

Active Sunscreen Ingredients Zinc Oxide & Titanium Dioxide: Sunology's unique patent-pending formulas make use of a special grade of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide specifically developed for sunscreen use. Derived from natural sources, they are classified as physical sunscreens as they are not absorbed through the skin. No Sunology active ingredient is derived from any man-made chemicals which have the potential to be absorbed through the skin (like those found in most US sunscreens marketed today). When applied, Sunology active ingredients become invisible leaving a protective barrier while protecting you against the Sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Sunology contains no oxybenzone or avobenzone, and is free of PABA.

It contains no chemical preservatives, is invisible upon application, is non-oily and concentrated.
